Bauman Moscow State Technical University (BMSTU) is the eldest technical university in Russia. BMSTU was always known as an Engineering University which combines exceptionally high academic standarts with professional training of highly - qualified specialists. By Edit of the RF President issued on 24 January 1995 BMSTU was recognized as a Great Valuable Object of Cultural Heritage of the Russian Federation.

In 1959 BMSTU opened its branch in Kaluga to train engineers for local industrial enterprises. For 50 years, Kaluga Branch has been training about 19.000 highly-skilled specialists. According to BMSTU curricula, Kaluga Branch offers different academic programmes. All training programmes meet state educational standards and carry national accreditation. Being a student of Kaluga Branch, you will be enabled to have your practical training and lead research- and -development activities using modern computers, equipment and devices and the latest technical literature. Besides, there is always something interesting in KB BMSTU student life: cultural, leisure and sport facilities, etc..
